Hello! I'm Charlotte, thank you for visiting my website.
This was my new little venture which I started in October 2017 in the hope that it would help to keep me sane...
You see, I'm a mum of three children, Maisy the beagle and wife to Arron..
We finally got our foot on the property ladder in January 2017 so naturally I began searching the internet for interior inspiration. It needed to compliment my house plant obsession and I instantly fell in love with the bohemian chic look... its from this that I discovered Macramé and I just had to give it a try.
I've always been a serial crafter, I have more balls of yarn than I care to admit and I would challenge anyone to find something I have not tried!
After finishing my first wall hanging I was hooked! I did it every evening when the kids were in bed and amazingly I didn't tire of it! Making macramé art became my escape from being 'just mum'. Its what I did to unwind after a stressful day.
After a few weeks my daughters school announced that they were holding a Christmas craft fair, that's when I decided to take the plunge and sell some of my work (my walls were full by that point, but I still wasn't ready to stop knotting!).
Mad About Macramé was born! I like to think I'm redefining mum life, one knot at a time! (My mum life at least!).
All my items are handmade by me in my home, they are made with love and passion. Every order I fulfill means I get to stay home with my babies, something I will forever be thankful for.
